Don worked for the GHQ after the war and went to the US in 1962 as a veterinarian (獣医). Several years after returning from the US, he joined Eli Lilly (米大手製薬会社) and retired in 1987. He has been a director and advisor for several companies since. Until 2005, Don had been to the US every year since 1962. He comes to E-MAX with his grand-daughter, Keiko. He is a Japanese at heart and a "world citizen" in mind. He has the highest level of English proficiency among our students.
Keiko is a business owner (http://www.horselover-kc.com) handling all sorts of "horse" stuff and also is a yoga instructor. She loves to ride horses when she gets a chance. She spent 8 months in the US (San Diego and San Francisco) attending a language school. She comes to E-MAX with her grandfather, "Don", to sharpen her English skills.
